In memory of Dr. Timothy Reed
Founder of Sorrento Valley Chiropractic, teacher to a generation of chiropractors, and the heart of this practice for more than thirty years.
Born and raised in San Diego, Dr. Reed earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology at UC San Diego before deciding to devote his life to helping others, beginning his chiropractic studies at the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. After graduating in 1990, he returned home to San Diego, interning at the Torrey Pines Chiropractic Clinic before opening his own practice in Sorrento Valley in 1993.
For three decades, Dr. Reed cared for patients of every age — from newborns to the grandparents who carried them — always beginning with a careful consultation and a plan built around the whole person. He also served as outside faculty for several chiropractic colleges, teaching the art of chiropractic to interns, many of whom went on to build successful practices of their own.
The practice he founded continues in the spirit he set: thorough, kind, and focused on helping people move and feel better. We are grateful for his legacy, and proud to carry it forward.

Yes. The practice Dr. Reed founded continues today under Dr. Jamey Jacquemoud and Dr. Jordan Loewenstein, with acupuncture and massage by Andrea Beck, L.Ac.
