A letter to our patients

Dear Sorrento Valley Chiropractic family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Dr. Timothy Reed, who founded this practice in 1993 and cared for our community for more than three decades. Many of you knew him not just as your chiropractor, but as a friend. His warmth, his skill, and his genuine love for the people of Sorrento Valley built everything this office is — and we miss him deeply.

Dr. Reed left this practice in good hands, and we intend to honor that trust every single day.

Dr. Jamey Jacquemoud, who practiced alongside Dr. Reed for two decades, continues to care for patients as he always has — with the same skilled, caring approach so many of you know well.

And for those who haven’t met me yet — I’m Dr. Jordan Loewenstein. Dr. Reed brought me into the practice in November 2025, as his health declined, to care for his patients — a trust I will always be grateful for, and one I don’t take lightly. I’m a second-generation chiropractor: I grew up in this profession watching my father care for his patients, and I’ve been around adjusting tables since before I could see over them. I bring that same hands-on, whole-person approach Dr. Reed practiced every day.

The office remains open with the same team, same location, and same commitment to you — chiropractic, acupuncture, and massage under one roof. Whenever you’re ready, we’d love to see you. Come in for an adjustment, treat yourself to a massage, or just stop by and say hello.
