Chiropractic through VA Community Care
We're proud to care for veterans through the VA Community Care Network - here's how to get chiropractic care with us, with VA approval.
Through the VA Community Care Network (CCN), eligible veterans can receive chiropractic care from community providers like us when the VA authorizes it. We're honored to care for veterans at our Sorrento Valley office.
VA Community Care works a little differently from commercial insurance: care is arranged and authorized by the VA in advance. Once you have an approved referral, there's typically no out-of-pocket cost to you for the authorized chiropractic visits.
How VA Community Care chiropractic works
To be seen under Community Care, you'll first need an approved referral or authorization from the VA for chiropractic services. The authorization specifies a number of visits and a time window. We bill the VA's third-party administrator directly for that approved care, so you can focus on getting better.
If you need continued care beyond your authorization, we can coordinate with the VA on a new referral. We'll keep your documentation clear throughout.
How to get started
Talk with your VA primary care team about a Community Care referral for chiropractic. Once it's approved, call us at 858-455-7654 with your authorization and we'll get you scheduled and handle the billing with the VA's administrator.
What to bring
- Your VA Community Care authorization or referral
- A photo ID
- Any referral or authorization, if your plan requires one
- Relevant records or imaging, if you have them
